A creative person looks for links and connections or attributes that produces another object and situation.
The famous scientist Albert Einstein said that "Imagination is more important than knowledge". Just as the human body can be strengthened and toned up to acquire muscular power through physical exercise, so too mind can be strengthened and sharpened through mental exercise.
What we retain in our mind is called memory. A persons memory system can be divided into three stages-Sensory, Short term and Long Term memory.
The sensory memory holds information only for an instant.
Short term memory holds a fact for as long you think about it.
Long term memory retains for a long time.
Memory functions in four stages.

  1. It recognises a thing.
  2. An impression is left on it.
  3. It retains the impression.
  4. And lastly, it recalls.
