Why India is understood as the land of gods? Why Indian believes in epics, vedic text or ancient texts?

Life is too short to worry for problems. Just worry to solve a problém.

This is India, the land of gods.The whole country is full of religions, culture and traditions belonging to different groups of indian society.
Still today in India the man with snake wanders here there whistles his flute and makes the snake dance to earn his livings. But have you ever realised that India is the only country with highest no. of citizens off all religions than any other country.
There are five main reasons behind the question that India is land of gods.

1.  Hinduism came as the first religion on Indian sub continent it tries to control that area but slowly and gradually as the time passes India was visited by so many foreigners who stayed here. these foreigners were very respected people of their countries or religion.you can say at starting of the era India can be known for its self development Technics, or the holy place of Hindu gods.
2. As the time passes these foreigners started to dissolve with Indians by marring them and becoming permanent here,and gradually they die and leaving their religion behind here.
3. Some great thinkers like Mahaveer Jain and Mahatma Buddh also effected the Indian society too much,along with Guru Nanak.All these three persons have their own knowledge about life than what was already known to Hindus.thus their knowledge affected a large part of their people following people started taking them as god re incarnation.
4. Some other poets like Rahim and Kabir , have different thinking ,they are the simple people with extra knowledge of self improvement,people also followed them in a large number,Sufi saints were also popular that time.It can be easily concluded that India do not remain longer Hinduistic.
5. One reason can be the foreign invaders such as Mughals , Britisher in the medieval  age also puts an effect to the question.Mughals have also given a large diversify structures and Mosquoes for their god.And Britishers also started to settle in India which made them to search a place for worship thus coming out with their churches for god prayers.

At last I would only say that we are now living ion the 21st century here the religions have faded away.and we should focus on how we are living? Are we doing any mistakes.

-And it is also truth that every Indians believe their religious text in what sense it is a secret.

some people believe that the holy texts were known at the time when there was nothing like today and the knowledge what is written in them is working in todays life more better than that era.it is recommended for you to follow the teaching of the holy book of your religion you will come to know that it still works.

I think the working of the holy texts knowledge in our day to day life has made Indians believe on holy and ancient texts ignoring all superstitious beliefs.
